My name is Alyssa, and my partner’s name is Francois. I am Australian and Francois is French, … from Paris. We are a down to earth, friendly couple who are looking for someone to stay in our granny flat.
We are both keen adventurers and have traveled quite a lot of Australia and New Zealand so we have a lot of stories to tell! Our combined hobbies include 8 ball, yoga, badminton and hiking. We also love being at home as well and chilling on the couch, playing games or watching movies and shows.
As for work, Francois is a storeman at the Woolworths Distribution Centre and I own my own cleaning business. Francois is full time and I am part-time which gives me time to keep the house organised and work on expanding my business from home.

We have been hosting long term and short term students for the past 3 years and we love it. We have kept in contact with all our past students have moved on or have gone back to their country as we have built amazing relationships with them over the time they were with us. Our son Lorenzo is in grade 2 and attends School close by to our house, he is a dancer and is mostly at his dance studio every Saturdays, he also enjoys learning different languages and teaching English also.

I am a single father with two young children that will be with us 1 week in a fortnight and a small inside dog named Mei Mei whom is energetic but harmless and loving. You will have a good sized room and a main bathroom that is mostly to yourself (children only bath in here 1 week of the fortnight)
I Can provide Breakfast for an increased rate of $180 per week, or no meals for $160 per week.
Facilities include;

We are a family of 6 who have hosted Homestay students for many years.
We are close to Flinders Uni, … Flinders IELI, Flinders Hospital, and an easy bus ride to Adelaide Uni, Uni SA (City) and CELUSA.
The Flinders Uni Loop bus will drop you to our door at night if required.
We are a short trip to the beach, and Westfield Marion. Local shops are within walking distance, and there are bus stops just a few minutes walk from our home.
Your room has a single bed with full linen, desk, desk chair and lamp, bedside table, plenty of storage, a reverse-cycle airconditioner (heating and cooling with your own control), security roller blinds, and black-out curtains. You will share a bathroom with other students only, but there are other bathrooms in the house. You will have your own house keys, and your bedroom is individually key-locked. Your room also has high-speed broadband internet.
We offer all meals and snacks.
We have 4 young school-aged children (youngest is 7, oldest is 11) – they are not allowed in your rooms! They are in bed by 7:30 at night and our house is very quiet after that.
We have a small indoor cat, and this is a non-smoking house.
Our home has a park at the rear of it, through our back gate.
We both enjoy helping with your homework if you need it.
We prefer longer stays but will consider shorter.
